The college experience at Elmira means meeting students from around the world and participating in timeless traditions and community service projects. There's nothing like the electrifying energy of a home basketball game and stands full of students, Alumni, 教师, 工作人员, and friends cheering on their 飙升的鹰. 埃尔迈拉大学 has 16 varsity Athletics teams, including seven men's, 七个女人的, and two co-ed teams. The 飙升的鹰 compete at the Division III level level and have captured six national championships, including three in women's ice hockey and three in cheerleading.
The City of Elmira is a small, quaint town with big-city connections.
